Salt Therapy Sessions at The Salt Room Lake Country
Salt rooms and halotherapy are a fairly new practice here in the States, but in Europe they are well known as salt caves, given their origins from salt mines where salt therapy was discovered. Instead of the confined and enclosed European salt caves, we have created a calming spa-like environment for our salt rooms in order to give clients a tranquil atmosphere where they can relax while benefiting from the salt therapy.
Every wall surface, including the floor & ceiling, is covered with natural rock salt to create a sterilized and negative ion environment. The Salt Room Lake Country also uses the newest top-of-the-line halogenerators to crush pharmaceutical grade salt into small particles for inhalation creating the microclimate.
Each salt therapy session at The Salt Room Lake Country lasts 45 minutes. You can read a book or even take a nap while relaxing to the calming background music playing in the room. Your comfort is ensured by our Zero-Gravity, NASA inspired recliners. With your feet elevated at your heart-level or slightly above, this position puts the least amount of strain on the spine neutralizing the effects of gravity. The Zero-Gravity recliners allow you to relax while you’re seated and lets the discs in your spine return to their normal shape.

Conversation Room and Meditation Room
Conversation Room – Our Conversation Salt therapy room accommodates up to six clients, is used with families and children. Children are able to play on the salt floor’s with toys as they would play on a beach or in a sand box. The Conversation Room sessions begin on the hour.
Meditation Room – Our Meditation Salt Room accommodates up to four clients and is used for adults only. Our meditation room is a quiet room. Quiet meditation, reading and sleeping are fine. Please be respectful and considerate of others in this group session. We encourage you to sit back, unplug and unwind during your session. The Meditation Room sessions begin on the half hour.
